Job Summary

Job Summary
The Professional Services (PS) Contracts Team is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and results-oriented Contracts Manager with demonstrable experience working with global cloud and on-premise consulting services go-to-market teams in a rapid growth environment. This role will be engaged in the review and negotiations of a wide range of B2B PS statements of work (“SOW”) involving large strategic engagements. The successful candidate will be able to adeptly prioritize and navigate a range of commercial transactions in a high-volume and velocity business and work collaboratively with key business teams.

Our team is experienced, passionate, sophisticated, communicative, and highly collaborative. As a critical member of the PS Contracts Team, you must have a clear, business-centric, common-sense, risk-based approach to providing contract and negotiation support. An added benefit would be an individual who is fluent in French and/or German.  We highly value kindness, empathy, ownership without ego, and a desire to simply pitch in when needed. What You'll Do:
•    Partner with various business teams throughout the world, other legal team members, and cross-functionally to negotiate, draft, and counsel stakeholders on a wide range of PS deals.
•    Research and advise on PS compliance-related matters.
•    Effectively collaborate and communicate across multiple cross-functional teams to resolve issues and incorporate input and recommendations into contracts and related documentation.
•    Support the development and improvement of template agreements, playbooks, and training materials to efficiently meet business objectives in a risk-balanced manner, focusing on clarity, practicality, and plain English drafting.
•    Drive awareness of PS compliance and risk management guidelines.
•    Identify and participate in internal training opportunities.
•    Perform other duties and assignments to support internal stakeholders and enhance and improve processes for the execution of the company's strategies.
•    Establish simplification and automation processes to drive efficiency in the PS organization. 
•    Creative and forward-thinking mindset to evolve and transform the role for greater impact and productivity
 Essential Functions:
•    Proven track record of growth and professional excellence in complex negotiations and deal execution. 
•    Proficient technical writing experience, including drafting contractual Professional Service Statements of Work (SOWs)
•    Substantial experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts inclusive of On-premises Software License Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Professional Services Agreements,  Statements of Work, Channel Sales Agreements, and Vendor Agreements.
•    Strong working knowledge of global commercial technology space.
•    Strong expertise in identifying and implementing new contract management tools, policies, processes and infrastructure improvements to accelerate negotiation and service delivery

Job Requirements

* This is primarily a remote opportunity, with some on-site possibilities for collaboration and meetings if located near a NetApp office. Preferred locations are Research Triangle Park (RTP) NC, but open to other locations in Eastern or Central time zones.

Job Requirements
•    5+ years as a lead contract negotiator with a global company.
•    3+ years of experience supporting Professional Services as a provider.
•    Proven track record of growth and professional excellence in complex negotiations and deal execution. 
•    Proficient technical writing experience, including drafting contractual Professional Service Statements of Work (SOWs.
•    Substantial experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts inclusive of On-premises Software License Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Channel Sales Agreements, and Vendor Agreements.
•    Strong working knowledge of global commercial technology space.
•    Strong expertise in identifying and implementing new contract management tools, policies, processes, and infrastructure improvements to accelerate negotiation and service delivery
•    Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
•    Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with internal stakeholders with flexibility, transparency, and respect, all with a desire to establish solid, lasting working relationships.
•    Ability to devise business-friendly, pragmatic solutions that reduce risk and enhance value.
•    Strong ownership mentality with the ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with colleagues and others located throughout the world.
•    Ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency; works with agility and can pivot as needed; thrives in a fast-paced environment.

•    Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills 
•    Some Night and Early Morning meetings are required to accommodate a globally diverse team 

Education

•    Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience in contract management

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is 111,330 - 156,530. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.  In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
