Job Summary

Spot by Netapp is a leading technology company specializing in cloud-based solutions. We are dedicated to providing innovative software solutions to our clients, as we continue to expand our cloud services, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Team Lead to join our dynamic development team.

As a Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring our talented and fun software engineers to deliver high-quality products on time, you will also take the role of a technological lead and be responsible for leveraging your expertise and knowledge to help develop and grow Spot core platform solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of talented software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Spot Core platform applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Architect scalable and reliable cloud solutions, leveraging best practices and industry standards. Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

Job Requirements

  • 5-6 years experience as a software developer
  • 2+ years of experience as a team lead guiding and mentoring small group of engineers
  • Extensive experience with one or more programming languages, (e.g., Java,, C#, Python, etc.). with a focus on microservice architectures and APIs. Java or C# is a must have.
  • Professional experience and understanding with building scalable and high performing applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their services.
  • Experience with Multi tenancy, Security, Identity solutions, focusing on authentication and authorization methodologies.
  • Experience with distributed systems with focus on large scale messaging and event systems
