Financial wellness
At NetApp, we design our programs to reward contributions and performance—with fairness and equity of opportunity in mind.
Base compensation
Our base pay is market competitive and reviewed annually.
Bonus
All employees are eligible for either an annual incentive based on individual goal achievement or commissions based on sales goals.
Equity & stock
All employees can participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) for a discount on NetApp stock. Annual equity grants are available based on employee potential.
You deserve a break
Your wellbeing comes first, and to be your best means taking time and space to reset. Our wellbeing benefits include:
- Employee discount programs
- Flexible work practices
- Personal coaching
- Employee stock purchase program
- Employee Business Resource Groups
- Holidays & family support time
Time away
We value your hard work and dedication to NetApp, but it's important to take the time you need away from work. Whether you're heading out on vacation or need to take an extended leave from work, we're here to support you.
Global Wellness Days
Global Wellness Days are paid days off to give you space and time to focus on your well-being, as well as give an extra reprieve and quiet time to recharge.
No Meeting Fridays
For all we do to collaborate and work together as a global team, we also need time to think, work, and learn in our jobs. No Meeting Fridays protect one Friday per month towards this goal.
Annual shutdown
Taking an intentional break, globally, allows us as a company to ensure we come back refreshed and healthy.
Comprehensive benefits
We want everyone to operate at their best. That means investing in the health and well-being of our employees. Our robust benefits programs cover physical, emotional, and financial health.
A full range of life and disability insurance is available for additional peace of mind.
As NetApp continues to build a global culture of well-being, we encourage employees and their families to use our Employee Assistance Program to help be their best.
Paid time to volunteer
Volunteering has a direct connection to happiness and well-being. The NetApp Serves program enables employees to make a bigger difference in the world by taking action in three ways: volunteer, donate, and connect.

NetApp may use an automated employment evaluation tool or similar tool as one of several tools, actions, and/or steps to assist with NetApp’s review of candidate applications for various hiring needs. Currently, when addressing certain hiring needs, NetApp uses the Eightfold tool which can provide an initial ranking of a candidate’s skills and experience, based on information provided by the applicant in the application and/or supporting documentation, in comparison to the NetApp designated key requirements of a specific role. Additionally, the tool may be used to help review and /or rank internal employees seeking promotion or other internal mobility.
An independent audit of the Eightfold Matching Model tool can be found at https://eightfold.ai/nyc-eightfoldmatching-model.
Candidates may request an alternative selection process which will not be subject to the Eightfold matching tool or to any electronic automated employment evaluation by contacting NetApp at careers@netapp.com. To bypass the Eightfold matching tool or any electronic automated employment evaluation, you must include a resume and job ID with your email to careers@netapp.com and you must include in the subject line of your email: Data Privacy Request. Candidates who have questions or want to request additional information on the source of data, type of data, and/or collection of data related to the candidate review process should contact NetApp at careers@netapp.com
