NetApp CONVERGE is our Sales Kickoff designed for partners and sales teams to ensure business success. As a Senior Program Manager of Proprietary Events, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and managing NetApp INSIGHT and CONVERGE, ensuring their success and impact on our attendees.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Program Manager of Proprietary Events to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of NetApp CONVERGE and support and program manage NetApp INSIGHT. The ideal candidate has a strong background in event management, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful events. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end event management, including strategic planning, budgeting, vendor management, attendee engagement, and post-event evaluation for the CONVERGE event and program manage the INSIGHT event partnering closely with the Conference Event Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy for NetApp CONVERGE, aligned with the company's objectives and target audience.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of NetApp CONVERGE, including venue selection, budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of NetApp CONVERGE, including marketing, sales, design, and production teams.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor events, and potential speakers or sponsors to enhance the event experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, speakers, sponsors, and partners to secure their participation and support for NetApp INSIGHT and CONVERGE.
  • Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and project plans to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Oversee event marketing and promotional activities, including website updates, email campaigns, social media, and content creation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to develop engaging event content, such as keynote presentations, breakout sessions, workshops, and networking activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance, gather feedback from attendees, and generate post-event reports to identify areas of improvement and measure event success.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and event management trends to continuously enhance experiences and drive innovation.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in planning, managing, and growing large-scale proprietary events, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executives, speakers, sponsors, and attendees.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as event registration platforms, project management software, and CRM systems.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges and create memorable event experiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside regular office hours as required.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 148,750 - 221,100 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
