The Operations Data Solutions (ODS) organization within Global Operations at NetApp is focused on enhancing business leadership and decision making through improved data management, advanced business insights and enhanced analytics maturity.
ODS needs a forward-thinking and innovative Analyst with advanced skills in developing Power BI Dashboards. We are also looking for advanced data management and analysis skills in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft Excel. The individual identified for this position will take ownership of developing Power BI dashboards along with data cleansing, transformation, and management, taking guidance from senior members of staff to assist Functional Stakeholder run the business activities The individual chosen will work with a cross-functional team in close collaboration with the Global Operations and IT organizations to manage Supply Chain Planning, Procurement and Order Fulfillment Data.
To be successful in this role, the ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders will be critical. This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, has ability to multi-task, a quick learner and driven to produce results. Additionally, this role will require attention to detail and the ability to handle large datasets.
Job Requirements
• Good oral and written communication skills; including the ability to author detailed process and software feature documentation.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, task, project management, and organizational skills.
• Hands on experience with Power Bi as a Developer
• Hands on experience on Power Query
• Good understanding of Tableau will be an added advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment of other analysts and cross functional peers to achieve project deadlines, while handling multiple tasks concurrently
• Ability to work with business stakeholders, IT, and the system integrator to ensure successful data transfer.
• Ability to perform regular data quality audits and follow up with owners to improve and maintain data quality.
• Advanced skills with Oracle PL/SQL queries and scripting is required
• Advanced skills with MS Excel is required including formulas.
• Familiarity with Oracle cloud ERP will be an added advantage
• A good understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain related domains is desirable
• Experience with Python programming is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Agile development process and systems analysis, design, and requirements management
• Basic to Intermediate software programming and/or scripting skill, including coding constructs and techniques.
• Ability to multitask with shifts in priorities.
• The ability to document and communicate status updates to team members and management.
Education
• A master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required. 7 to 9 years of experience is preferred.
