Job Summary

This is for AP Manager’s position and mainly responsible for managing end to end process and team handling activities.

Job Requirements

•    Oversee Global AP Scanning activities/Tracking the aging and rejections.
•    Work with AP sub processes to manage AP aging and hold management.
•    Work closely with SPOC’s and leads to ensure we meet the NetApp POT.
•    Work closely with R2R team to ensure cash book is reconciled in the same month.
•    Responsible for ensuring Month End activities are performed by the team. Validate and communication to the internal and external stake holders.
•    Work with P2P sub-processes and provide suggestions for process betterment.
•    Support the team in identify and report continuous improvement opportunities/ issues/ risks in the current process
•    Work with team/work allocation and team huddles.
•    Escalation management.
•    Regular 1:1 with direct reports and review performance and pass on feedback 
•    Conduct yearly performance review
•    Guide staffs on career growth 
•    Participates in QBR with senior leadership and is able to review the metrics

Interaction: 
•    This individual interacts with suppliers, team members, senior management, business users and employees in other functions and geographies
•    Regular and detailed direction is provided, as well as on-going review of activities and priorities

Education

•    Thorough knowledge in Scanning, Accounts Payable, Month End Close and Bank reconciliation.
•    At least 10 years of experience in AP end to end across all geos, and 8+ years of People Management experience preferably part of inhouse AP team.
•    Strong written, oral and reading communication skills to accurately obtain, interpret and transcribe a variety of communications and instructions.
•    Require excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel
•    Strong customer service aptitude 
•    Strong analytical, financial and problem-solving skills 
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint) is required 
•    Must be multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work
•    Proficient with Oracle 11i applications or R12 and Software application.
•    Team managing experience of managing 12 to 15 individual contributors and first line managers too.
•     Undergraduate degree or Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance and accounting or related courses or equivalent.
