Pricing Manager

This position is for an individual contributor designated as a Pricing Manager as part of the APAC/ EMEA Business Desk. The position will play a pivotal role in assisting with the Pricing and Deal approval process for Geo’s. This role will perform evaluations of deals, such as variations to standard pricing setups and business approvals, assist in pricing strategies, and play a crucial role in margin protection, management, and recovery.
Cross-functional collaboration primarily with Sales, Legal and Finance and the ability to engage with teams across EMEA/APAC would be critical.
Job Responsibilities
• Handle Pricing escalations and review Deals with variations to company standard setups.
• Facilitate business desk review with senior cross-functional executives.
• Enforce standard business processes, rules, and policies.
• Drive utilization of varied tools and provide inputs for necessary enhancements.
• Provide pricing and deal structure recommendations during deal development.
• Measure, monitor, and report select performance metrics on a regular cadence.
• Provide Competitive Intelligence on pricing strategies and tactics.
• Monitor large opportunities and facilitate timely review of these opportunities.
• Gather field feedback to help provide guidance to management and corporate on pricing strategies.
• Review and support global promotions with an aim to facilitate advanced value selling.
Job Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and organizational skills. Cultural awareness to support international teams.
• Organized and able to follow department processes and workflow.
• Good verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of sales/buying cycle, and the ability to determine sales opportunities.
• Good understanding of how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within department and across functions.
• Ability to analyze information and convey information clearly to enable sales effectiveness.
• Strong ethical awareness and integrity, with the ability to make unbiased, objective decisions.
• Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Office 365 (MS Teams and SharePoint experience preferred); familiarity with Microsoft Azure is preferred.Designing policies and objectives for contracts and programs. Providing input for forecasting and formulating program development budgets. - Acting as a liaison to ensure that programs, organizational marketing, field marketing and sales activities coincide.
- Assisting in analyzing programs and making suggestions to increase effectiveness. Assisting with conducting market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
- Developing programs and program materials to increase 'sell-through' and return on investment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of related experience is preferred.
