Job Summary

The Data Services team at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We are responsible for driving preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data protection and governance offerings.

We are looking for a Product Manager to help drive Data Classification solutions further. In this role, the candidate will have end-to-end responsibility for one of NetApp’s most exciting and cross-organizational products. You will work with engineering, customers, partners, and NetApp account teams to make the product a part of almost every NetApp offering. You will lead some of the most challenging, important and futuristic processes aimed at making the product the de-facto data management and classification layer for all NetApp products: integrating with the core operating system, while at the same time taking the product to become a SaaS product. You will be a subject matter expert and will work to share knowledge, plan integrated solutions, and oversee the execution to drive customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

· Become a NetApp products subject matter expert and drive tight, seamless integration with the entire NetApp portfolio, and especially the core operating system, providing unique value        and enriching the overall NetApp offering.

· Plan and execute the transformation of an existing product deployed as a server to a product integrated directly into every NetApp offering, seamlessly.

· Plan and Perform product integrations, including coordination, mutual value creation, product level design and work plan, all in complicated technical scenarios.

· Have utmost responsibility for work plan – monitor and adjust work plan as needed.

· Engage with customers, field experts, and internal and external partners to drive adoption.

· Create technical documents, product feature demos, and technical demos/deep dives and be the single point of knowledge for every field-facing activity. Work closely with and assume        responsibility for the communication of marketing creation professionals at NetApp to control the customer-facing message across all aspects.

· Identify gaps in product/process and work with the product teams to bridge them.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, we expect great leadership skills, product skills, technical skills, enterprise sales experience, great communication and consultative selling skills, outstanding collaboration and analytical skills, sincere customer focus, and to deal well with constant change. Ideally, the successful candidate will have:

· At least 10+ years of PM experience in a highly technical, cross-functional environment

· Profound understanding of the data management and storage world

· Profound understanding of cloud applications and SaaS deployment model

· Good project management background

· Great ability to lead cross-teams and cross-cultural initiatives.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment.

· Meaningful customer-facing experience.


Education

· An academic degree in Computer Science; or equivalent work experience
