Job Summary

As a Senior Cloud Network Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in our mission to build and maintain a robust and secure cloud network infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies and network security to design, implement, and manage secure solutions that protect our data and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud environment adheres to industry best practices and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

•    Design, implement, and manage secure cloud network architectures for NetApp's cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure,OCI, GCP).
•    Configure and maintain cloud-based firewalls and security solutions to safeguard against unauthorized access, intrusions, and threats.
•    Configure and maintain Palo Alto Cloud Firewall and Cloud WAF solutions to safeguard against unauthorized access, intrusions, and web application vulnerabilities.
•    Establish and enforce secure network access controls to restrict unauthorized access and protect sensitive information.
•    Implement and optimize secure network connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and confidentiality.
•    Design and manage Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions to enable secure remote access for employees and partners.
•    Utilize cloud-based security monitoring tools to proactively identify and respond to potential security incidents.
•    Leverage automation tools and scripting to streamline network security tasks and improve overall efficiency.
•    Demonstrate experience with Cisco ACI for implementing and managing secure network segmentation within the data center.
•    Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud network configurations, security policies, and incident response procedures.
•    Stay updated on the latest cloud security technologies and recommend solutions to enhance our security posture.
•    Participate in security incident response activities and contribute to mitigation strategies.
•    Troubleshoot BGP,OSPF routing and troubleshoot traffic flows NAT and security policies 

Qualifications


•    Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud network security engineering or a related field.
•    Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud network architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
•    Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices (e.g., IAM, encryption, zero trust).
•    In-depth knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, access control lists (ACLs), and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
•    Proficiency in TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network troubleshooting methodologies.
•    Experience with Cisco ACI concepts and configuration for data center network security.
•    Proven experience with Palo Alto Cloud Firewall and WAF configuration and management.
•    Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for cloud automation platforms (Ansible/Terraform).
•    Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
•    A passion for learning and staying abreast of emerging cloud security threats and technologies.

Bonus Points


•    Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or AWS/Azure/GCP Security certifications.
•    Experience with cloud security compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS).
•    Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
•    Candidates with strong Cisco ACI experience will also be considered.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
