Job Summary

In the role of Treasury Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting NetApp’s Treasury & Risk team by assisting in the preparation and sharing of business reports. You will work closely with the Reporting Team to help turn data into valuable insights that aid in decision-making processes. This position, based in Cork, Ireland, and requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in providing accurate and timely reporting for various Treasury & Risk functions, including investment performance, compliance, FX, insurance, global cash balances, bank fees, FBAR, and quarter-end submissions.
  • Support in refining and enhancing Treasury Success Metrics reporting.
  • Work with the reporting team to ensure daily bank statements are fully imported to the Treasury Management System.
  • Aid in month-end and quarter-end reporting activities.
  • Contribute to developing analytics to derive insights from data for addressing business challenges.
  • Assist in generating insights and recommendations for business users and presenting analytical findings effectively.
  • Support the maintenance of data models, reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to facilitate key business decisions.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects using data analysis techniques to identify strategic insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the technology roadmap within Treasury, including assisting with RFPs, implementations, and testing of treasury-related automation technologies.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing complex data for reporting and performance analysis.
  • Help develop reports and presentations for senior management and leadership.

Job requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document existing metrics and propose process improvements.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), SQL, and Power BI.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Basic understanding of data extract/reporting software.
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance practices.
  • Ability to research and implement new solutions independently.

Education

  • This position requires a university degree in finance, accounting, or economics (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financials, Hyperion Reporting and Smart View is a plus
  • Experience with automation (such as AI, Power BI, Python, Alteryx, bots, etc.) is a positive differentiator
