The Cloud Alliance Marketing Manager leads marketing strategy and execution regionally in alignment with sales, product management, and partnership development for the NetApp’s Microsoft Azure portfolio.
Activities
• Serve as strategic business partner to internal and external sales, product management, and partnership development stakeholders in EMEA associated with our alliance with Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build regional marketing plan for EMEA driving growth for NetApp’s portfolio of solutions on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, as well as for Microsoft first-party service Azure NetApp Files
• Works cross-functionally across NetApp’s Azure go-to-market team to identify business priorities and deploy regional marketing activities across key audiences including customers, partners, and Microsoft itself
• Lands global Microsoft Azure campaigns in region while maintaining global consistency in strategy, message, and target audience
• Owns regional marketing performance reporting according to NetApp marketing KPIS.
• Aligns to Microsoft marketing stakeholders to manage lead and opportunity progression via Microsoft’s Partner Center to show ROI on Microsoft MDF, including regional MDF budget ownership.
• Contributes to global marketing activities by providing input on strategy, budget, and internal and external communications to stakeholders.
Business Objectives
Lead regional marketing business strategy and execution to drive pipeline creation and execution across NetApp’s Microsoft Azure portfolio.
Key Performance Indicators
Pipeline acceleration and engagement contribution through correlated MDF and NetApp budgeted programs across all Microsoft Azure audiences measured by engaging Microsoft sellers, engaging NetApp’s Target Account List, and engaging first-party and third-party wins.
Skills and Competencies
• Knowledge of direct and indirect sales model and cloud dynamics, motivations, and business models
• Marketing strategic thinking, creativity, and organization, plus both collaborative and hands-on execution skills
• Ability to align and manage diverse stakeholders and expectations while maintaining NetApp priorities and timelines
• Analytical mindset to measure, test, learn, and iterate to get the best results possible
• Knowledge of marketing analytics tools including Account Intelligence & Engagement and the Marketing Execution Dashboard
• Knowledge of hyperscaler sales and alliance strategy
• Ability to and confidence in communicating complex concepts to varying stakeholders
• Strong presentation and communication skills
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
