Job Summary
The Partner Technical Lead (PTL) plays a critical role as the technical lead for assigned Partners. Working closely with the Partner team, the PTL is responsible for understanding the long-term vision, business challenges, and aligning NetApp's portfolio to drive technical solutions that promote NetApp products, solutions, and services in Partner-led opportunities. The PTL will establish strong working relationships with Partner executives, thought leaders, and technical leads to drive collaboration and achieve joint business goals. This role requires excellent communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate the Partner organization effectively.

Essential Functions
- Understand the Partner's capabilities, strategic goals, and key market trends to identify must-win areas for collaboration.
- Meet with Sales, Services, and Technical executives to establish strong working relationships and foster collaboration between organizations.
- Brief the Partner's technical and service delivery executives to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest advances and solutions offered by NetApp.
- Align with Partner executives, managers, and technical leads to develop and execute a cohesive strategy through joint business plans.
- Collaborate with the Partner to develop joint design-in solutions that incorporate NetApp products, solutions, and services.
- Deliver technical content and engage Partner executives through conferences, presentations, and other communication channels.
- Promote the Partner's capabilities within NetApp through technical resources, blogs, vlogs, and presentations.
- Support NetApp's sales teams in identifying opportunities for collaboration and enablement with the Partner, driving revenue growth.
Job requirements
- Strong understanding of Partner business and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with NetApp's Partner Programs and the ability to explain them to Partners, particularly Partner Sphere.
- Knowledge of competitor partner programs and industry success levels.
- Ability to navigate the Partner organization and tailor messages based on the audience's needs and persona.
- Strategic thinking and goal-setting skills to establish objectives for the Partner relationship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with Partner executives and technical leadership.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with Partners.
