Job Summary
The Active IQ Analytics Product Owner will help deliver analytics features for our internal and customer users. The Product Owner will deliver the vision through a set of prioritized product requirements from various internal and external stakeholders. This role’s success will be measured by the progress in delivering the required analytics and analytical data enabling the stakeholders to drive their business outcomes. This cross-functional role requires to work closely with key groups to gather requirements and track deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
· Execute on the priorities of the squad
· Ensure alignment of priorities with business and product objectives & goals
· Ensure a thorough understanding of user journeys either by directly interacting with users or an equivalent business person/stakeholder
· Partner with scrum master, engineering manager, and squad members to regularly plan and lead the execution of requirements of an assigned squad
· Establish key operational success metrics for the squad
· Develop, groom, maintain, and prioritize the backlog of the squad
· Partner with Engineering Managers and leaders to ensure squad has right kinds of skillset to deliver on squad objectives and goals
· Establishes standards and methodologies across the product portfolio partnering with adjacent teams & subject matter experts within NetApp
· Seeks & leverages early user feedback & testing to continuously review & design workflows that aligns with user and business needs
· Translates product roadmap features into well-defined requirements and user stories
· Proficient in Agile tools (Jira) and processes
· Prioritizes and maintains the backlog of requirements, balancing the requirements of multiple stakeholders.
· Focuses on strategic innovation that improves the customer experience and offers new capabilities that solve customer problems and drives positive business outcomes
· Continuously engages with users and stakeholders to come up with the optimal experience
Job Requirements
· Master’s degree in data science or business analytics, or an associated field is preferred.
· 5 or more years of relevant experience
· Proficient in writing sql queries, using tableau, power BI
· The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in as a product owner / product manager with experience that includes a balance of both technical and business expertise
· User 1st mind set, proactive, self-starter, and fast learner
· Working knowledge of Agile methodology and Jira
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire delivery team to deliver world class digitalized customer workflows
· High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
· Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions (from the product and the user community)
· Ambitious and resourceful; results oriented; highly innovative.
· Highly analytical, data-driven mindset; holds self and others accountable with measurable ROI-oriented KPIs.
· Effective executor; pivots well from ideation to rapid-cycle implementation.
· Thrives in less structured environment that values speed-to-market over perfection.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 128,250 - 180,290 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
