Job Summary:

The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) position resides within the Marketing Technology Office.  TPM's are responsible for working with internal Marketing, external NetApp functions, as well as vendors to manage the end to end (research, recommend, implementation, training, support, renew) technical roadmap for all Marketing technology (MarTech).  The candidate for this position will have excellent customer focus, a demonstrated record of program management, experience in key Marketing disciplines (Marketing Automation, Demand/Lead Generation, Paid Media, Social Media, Personalization, Partner/Channel, Account Based Marketing, Analytics, Operations) that support a Digital culture. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and technical recommendations for MarTech based on organizational needs
  • Coauthor business processes and implementation plans with the Marketing Technology Architect
  • Manage integrations of MarTech applications with Marketing and non-marketing systems
  • Create, evaluate, and maintain product roadmaps
  • Stay updated on tech trends and evaluate new capabilities/products
  • Build relationships with internal technology users and vendors
  • Negotiate Statements of Work (SOW) for MarTech purchases and renewals
  • Administer licenses and user management for applications
  • Conduct training on new technology
  • Report and measure application and tool effectiveness
  • Ensure data privacy and security compliance
  • Participate and lead discussions in the Marketing Technology Council

Job Requirements:

  • Leadership:
    • Ability to lead and organize high level application and platforms with the Marketing technology stack, while assisting other team members and management with day-to-day operations 
  • Program Management
    • Ability to manage several projects underneath high-level programs that require working with various stakeholders across multiple internal and external disciplines; Leadership, Decision Making, Negotiation, Strategy, Analysis, and Presentation 
  • Technology Management
    • Ability to understand the uses and use cases to leverage technology for our customers day to day business effectiveness and efficiencies.  Having and maximizing the right tool for the job 
  • Organization 
    • We are responsible for multiple work streams across several lines of business.  Using the Agile methodology combined with technology, we are accountable to our commitments and use feedback as a continuous improvement mechanism

  • Communication 
    • We operate as a center of excellence and start and remain as the hub of engagement as it relates to technology throughout Marketing.  Timely and informative communication is the foundation of our team and helps our stakeholders stay in the know

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems or related field
  • 5+ years of Program Management experience 
  • 5+ years or experience within Marketing

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $127K - $179K and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
