Position
NetApp is seeking a dynamic and strategic finance leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Enterprise Storage Planning, Product Finance unit. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary finance business partner to key senior business leaders bringing actionable insights and financial acumen as well as a key architect in shaping and executing financial strategies that drive the success of our product operations. As a leader, you will oversee financial operations, provide insightful analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal financial performance.
Under your leadership, you will support senior business leaders and senior finance leaders by driving financial analysis to support financial planning, budgeting, decision making, and performance. Your excellent communication skills enable you to present analysis, results, recommendations, and influence decisions at all levels of the organization, including the Executives team.
In the Enterprise Storage Planning role, you will support the strategic planning function for NetApp core platform, spanning across Hybrid Cloud and Public Cloud. This role will oversee the Enterprise Storage & Shared Platform strategy for NetApp, with a focus on AI enablement, an area going through rapid growth. You will also hire, lead and manage a team to provide Product Finance FP&A support along with full P&L responsibility.
Location
This position can be located near any major US cities, some travel may be required. Seattle and San Jose preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive strategic influence through financial insights, guiding key business decisions and ensuring alignment with overarching financial objectives.
• Lead business planning, long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision making within the Product Business Unit.
• Ensure a comprehensive understanding and proactive monitoring of key financial metrics within the P&L framework (i.e. Revenue, costs, discounts, gross margin & contribution margin)
• Exercise stewardship over area-wide resources and govern the P&L, assuming responsibility for the allocation and management of financial assets.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of the product business, offering actionable insights into business performance and trends.
• Present financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators for the business unit.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred
• 15+ years of progressive experience in finance roles
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote locations.
• Proven track record in elevating financial team performance through strategic leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational departments.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 240,550 - 357,500 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
