Job Summary

NetApp CloudOps Marketing Team is looking for a North America Field and Channel Partner Marketing Manager to take on a critical role in helping our CloudOps BU continue its rapid growth and expand its leadership in the CloudOps category across North America.  

This role will have responsibility for working with CloudOps US Sales and go-to-market partners to drive awareness, thought leadership, demand generation and pipeline acceleration for our solutions. You will work closely with and be supported by our global marketing team, Sales and Solution Architects, channel business development, and product teams to create the right strategy and execute programs to drive new contacts and lead, engagement within our target accounts, along with cross sell and upsell existing customers, and ultimately influence the pipeline and won business.

Job Requirements

  • You will be responsible for ideating, facilitating creation and the execution of programs and activities that drive demand generation, upsell within existing accounts, promote customer retention, and increase brand recognition for our CloudOps solutions and products.
  • Define quarterly region-specific marketing plan, with a strong focus on pipeline generation programs, aligned and agreed with the sales leadership team.  
  • Execute region-specific marketing programs (3rd party or proprietary events, Meeting Programs, Dinners, channel co-marketing / demand gen programs, hyperscaler co-marketing programs, etc), applying marketing best practices. 
  • Build channel marketing campaigns and kits that can be easily consumed by the channel partners to help them drive demand gen activities.    
  • Build joint channel marketing programs with focus partners, agreeing on MDF support where ROI is justified and aligned with channel leadership.   
  • Maintain a marketing calendar of all region-specific events and activities for broad visibility. 
  • Monitor and analyze field and channel marketing program results to measure and improve the effectiveness and results of our initiatives, and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Attend sales and channel virtual team meetings and QBRs as the marketing representative. 
  • Collaborate with NetApp field marketing team to align and find opportunities to collaborate or include CloudOps prospects/customers/partners in their programs. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Events team in local market to build the best event strategy to address and engage our target audience. 
  • Execute marketing programs to cross-sell and up-sell our install base, with the customer success teams.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in field and/or channel partner marketing.   
  • Experience working at global technology companies, including SaaS / Cloud companies.   
  • Experience partnering with top-tier channel and alliance partners. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a diverse audience of internal and external stakeholders.   
  • Experience with Salesforce and Demandbase a big plus. 
  • A healthy customer obsession, analytical mindset, agility and results-driven orientation.   
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.   
  • Positive attitude and can-do mentality. 
  • Ability and flexibility to work globally – working within a global team.    
  • Willingness to travel within North America to support field event up to 30% of the time.

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $103,310 - $145,200 . Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.  In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).,
