As a Senior Cloud Pricing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for transactional pricing policies, pricing controls, and review processes of cloud offerings sold direct and through NetApp channels including hyperscaler partners.  You will be a key business partner to Cloud product teams, Finance, and Sales, and will refine cloud deal empowerment rules and manage the overall discounting of private offers transacted through hyperscaler partners. 

You will be the Business Desk advocate for Cloud initiatives, including product launches, new offerings, evolving pricing strategies, and promotions. You will provide advice and insight on how to best land offerings and initiatives, as well as drive strategies around implementation of pricing controls and process. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Cloud product teams to help influence pricing implementation strategies for Cloud product offerings, as well as processes and controls used to enforce and monitor pricing performance. 
  • Drive upfront structuring of Cloud Business Desk by:
    • Refining present and future BD responsibilities, driving BD process, and ensuring process documentation of functions and flows
    • Providing readiness to the broad BD team and field awareness of BD responsibilities
    • Ensuring BD has access and understanding of tools, dashboards, or reports to assist with their responsibilities
  • Support Business Desk, Field, and Cloud Pricing at opportunity level by being:
    • The primary central resource for Business Desks on Cloud offers and pricing strategies
    • The escalation resource on Cloud discounting strategies and deal reviews
    • The expert on specific deal opportunities across processes, pricing, and tools
  • Own and architect Key Performance Indicators to provide pricing and deal-level insight to improve future pricing and review structures

Job Requirements

  • Collective 12+ years of related industry experience in Pricing, Pricing Operations, Product Management, Program Management, Data Analysis, and other related fields
  • Possess a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and a solid understanding of pricing processes, capabilities, and enabling technologies
  • Proactive in nature and have the strong capacity to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on driving measurable results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present complex data effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in using Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience as well as a Bachelors degree or commensurate experience
  • Business or quantitative degree highly preferred (master’s degree preferred)
  • Must be a US citizen

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $164,000 - $200,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
