We are looking for a Spot Sales Specialist to drive our growth with the Spot by NetApp product portfolio. Spot is one of NetApp's fastest growing businesses, servicing thousands of customers in more than 60 countries, reshaping the way enterprises consume and optimize information technology and powering the developers who are building the next generation of global industry leaders. Spot customers (including some of the most innovative enterprises and startups like Ticketmaster, Duolingo, and Broadcom) use our software to reduce the amount of human effort required to manage their cloud infrastructure for web applications, container workloads, big data processing, and more. Our technology allows DevOps and Engineering teams to spend less time managing infrastructure, while better optimizing costs.

Spot Sales Specialists will partner with NetApp Client Executives to sell the Spot portfolio into existing NetApp customers and net new NetApp prospects alike. Specialists will develop deep sophistication with the technology behind the Spot product portfolio, and they will use that knowledge to source, close, and ramp software deals in NetApp’s Enterprise segment.

Job Requirements

•    Develop and execute on a strategic plan for your territory to meet monthly, quarterly and annual bookings & revenue objectives.
•    Partner with NetApp Client Executives to drive revenue and market share within the Enterprise Segment.
•    Develop and execute against a comprehensive account success plan.
•    Create & articulate compelling value propositions around Spot by NetApp products and services.
•    Accelerate customer adoption.
•    Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a combination of cold outreach, networking with NetApp Client Executives, and sourcing through partners.
•    Manage contract negotiations.
•    Ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications
•    7-10+ years’ experience of B2B SaaS/Software subscriptions in a highly technical environment.
•    Proficient understanding of cloud native technologies and their business benefits.
•    Proficient understanding of public cloud providers, their business models and offerings.
•    Proficient understanding of opensource databases such as Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL and other similar technologies.
•    Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity.
•    Proven success in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline generation, pipeline progression, negotiation and closing complex sales cycles.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is 210,000 - 230,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
