As Communications Manager, Regional Communications EMEA, he/she will play a vital part in support of driving a high achievement culture through the implementation of strategic communications that foster employee engagement, drive effectiveness, and contribute to business outcomes during our company's transformation in EMEA. Specifically, in this role, the manager will develop and execute strategic campaigns, create compelling content across various channels, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance NetApp's employee visibility and engagement through strategic campaigns and compelling content.
We are looking for an experienced communications strategist with previous internal communications experience to build regional internal communication strategies and incorporate them into the organization’s broader Enterprise Employee communication plan. These communications focus on supporting the EMEA region. Candidates must be able to develop and execute creative, successful multi-channel communications strategies for internal audiences and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A high degree of creativity and technology domain knowledge is a plus.
As Manager, Regional Communications EMEA, he/she will contribute to strengthening NetApp's key business priorities and building a high achieving culture by fostering employee engagement, amplifying the NetApp narrative, and linking enterprise-level initiatives to their regional context.
This candidate will also be adept at understanding cultural nuances in the region. This position operates as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive enterprise-wide amplification of communications initiatives.
· Manage regional and country-level stakeholder relationships to ensure effective internal communication strategies.
· Partner closely with the Director of Communications - EMEA, HR Director- EMEA, WX Director – EMEA and country leaders to oversee regional employee communications and engagement efforts to enhance employee experience and alignment with corporate objectives within region.
· Plan and coordinate campaign timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
· Use employee feedback and data on the effectiveness of communication efforts to inform and approach message development and execution
· Monitor campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
· Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation to maximize impact
· Support a range of transformation communications programs and strategies that inform, develop knowledge, inspire and engage employees
· Leading Enterprise-wide Employee Communication Initiatives and Campaigns in the region, driving and tailoring key company initiatives for different countries in EMEA to increase engagement.
· Regional and country-level executive communications partnership, managing and fostering regional stakeholder relationships for Employee and Enterprise activities, including internal and external executive messaging, communications, and all hands meeting content.
· Maintaining and developing content for regional employee comms channels, including local customer and employee stories.
Education & Experience
· 8 years or more of relevant experience in employee or internal communications, public relations, corporate communications, or related fieldE
· Experience working with People/HR concepts including employee experience/engagement, change management, leadership, learning, workplace experience and talent enablement management
· Proven ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships within the organization, and interface regularly with key individuals and all levels of staff, including executive management
· Strategic thinking, analytical and data-driven, proactive execution
· Strong organization, program, and project management as well as content development skills
· Excellent written, editing, and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts
· Demonstrated experience in transformational programs and the ability to provide leadership in change management strategy and deliverables, while engaging multiple constituents and driving time-sensitive communications preferred
· Deep understanding of modern communications tools, including videos, podcasts, etc.
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field required
