About NetApp

The market has shifted. AI is accelerating. The key to AI success is intelligent data and the infrastructure to manage it. Customers are urgently rethinking how they modernize, secure, and unlock value from their data. NetApp is built for this exact moment — with a differentiated platform, deep enterprise credibility, and a clear strategy to win.

Joining NetApp now means operating in a high achievement environment where you are empowered to own every moment. Our culture is grounded in three principles: innovate to elevate, drive results, excel as a team. These are more than words. They define how we show up, how we sell, and how we grow.

Position Overview

Ready to kickstart your career in technology services and business operations? NetApp’s EMEA Managed Services Internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in how a regional Managed Services business operates day to day.

You will support the team with operational, commercial, reporting, and coordination activities across delivery administration, forecasting, customer onboarding, governance, revenue tracking, renewals, pre-sales support, and process improvement. You will work and learn in a hybrid environment, gaining exposure to customer delivery, enterprise technology, and cross-functional collaboration across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project, revenue, customer onboarding, transition, and steady-state delivery tracking across active EMEA Managed Services accounts.
  • Help maintain delivery trackers, action logs, customer records, internal status views, and handoff activities between pre-sales, transition, delivery, finance, and account teams.
  • Assist with forecasting inputs, data quality checks, recurring reporting, and simple summaries for delivery health, customer status, risks, renewals, actions, and revenue visibility.
  • Help prepare management updates, monthly delivery review materials, briefing notes, customer context summaries, and internal business review content.
  • Support tracking of deal renewals, contract end dates, commercial milestones, pipeline visibility, and follow-up items with delivery, finance, and account teams.
  • Maintain action logs from governance meetings and help track initiatives, risks, dependencies, overdue actions, and next steps through to closure.
  • Carry out research to support pre-sales lead generation, account planning, customer opportunity reviews, reusable templates, collateral inputs, and case study material.
  • Contribute to process improvement by documenting simple processes, supporting standardisation, gathering feedback, and suggesting practical ways to simplify repetitive administration.

Your Profile

  • Current student, school leaver, or recent graduate in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Management, Data Analytics, or similar.
  • Strong interest in technology, managed services, enterprise IT, business operations, customer delivery, or data-driven decision-making.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear notes, summaries, and action updates.
  • Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage several small tasks or workstreams at the same time.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, trackers, presentation materials, Microsoft Office tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Analytical mindset, with an interest in spotting trends, inconsistencies, risks, or improvement opportunities.
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to ask questions to understand how things work.
  • Any academic, voluntary, or work experience involving research, reporting, coordination, customer communication, finance, project support, or process improvement would be beneficial.

Data privacy

We care about your privacy and, therefore, ask that you read our Candidate Privacy Notice before you submit any personal information to us.

NetApp does not carry out any solely automated decision making (i.e. the process of making a decision by automated means without any human involvement) in determining your suitability or eligibility for specific roles.

However, the processing of your personal information is carried out with the aid of manual and automated tools. In particular, NetApp may use an automated employment evaluation tool or similar tool as one of several tools, actions, and/or steps to assist with NetApp’s review of candidate applications for various hiring needs.

Currently, when addressing certain hiring needs, NetApp uses the following tools:

  • Eightfold (eightfold.ai): This tool can provide an initial ranking of a candidate’s skills and experience, based on information provided by the applicant in the application and/or supporting documentation, in comparison to the NetApp designated key requirements of a specific role. Additionally, the tool may be used to help review and/or rank internal employees seeking promotion or other internal mobility. An independent audit of the Eightfold Matching Model tool can be found at https://eightfold.ai/nyc-eightfoldmatching-model.
  • Findem (findem.ai): This tool is used to help identify candidates whose skills and experience may be relevant to open roles at NetApp, using publicly available professional information. Findem may also be used to assist with candidate matching, AI-assisted screening, and recruitment communications.

Our talent acquisition team or our recruiters will ultimately select the candidates for further consideration, following human review of any automated evaluation results and associated underlying documentation (or lack thereof) submitted with the candidates’ application.

Candidates may request an alternative selection process which will not be subject to the Eightfold matching tool or to any electronic automated employment evaluation by contacting NetApp at careers@netapp.com. To bypass the Eightfold matching tool or any electronic automated employment evaluation, you must include a resume and job ID with your email to careers@netapp.com and you must include in the subject line of your email: Data Privacy Request. Candidates who have questions or want to request additional information on the source of data, type of data, and/or collection of data related to the candidate review process should contact NetApp at careers@netapp.com

Note: Eightfold is not applicable to temporary hiring opportunities. If you are interested in temporary roles, you can apply via a third-party site managed by our preferred supplier, Magnit Global. Magnit Global will provide its own privacy disclosures for your review as part of the application process.
