This senior role is responsible for leading and running the day-to-day marketing Operations & Analytics function, campaign ops, tools and budget, insights and reporting. We are looking for a growth-orientated and highly motivated Marketing Operations and Analytics Leader to enable ABM, Area Marketing Managers and Targeted Demand Managers with strategies and hands on analytics to support quality pipeline generation for the Geo sales team.
This role oversees the lead generation operation model that powers field marketing contribution – developing, executing and scaling programs that actively driving pipeline and deliver revenue for the business. This is a key position, reporting to the Senior Director of EMEA/LATAM Marketing that requires a combination of strategic and analytical thinking and well as excellent data & operational skills. You will work across the marketing leadership team to develop the data insights and the narrative to measure and articulate the impact of marketing on the overall business.
Job Requirements
- Develop a deep understanding of marketing (KPIs), metrics, and reporting dashboards. Be able to clearly explain their significance to the team and instruct on how to utilise relevant reports.
- Collaborate with the analytics and sales operations teams, setting requirements for the geo specific reporting and data needs.
- Understand the needs of our internal stakeholders who receive our marketing performance reports, ensuring that presentations and narratives are tailored to be relevant and insightful, and that they can be adapted and utilized across different regions.
- Actively monitor dashboards daily for any data inconsistencies. Work closely with the reporting team to rectify errors, identify trends, and discern insights that can aid the marketing teams in optimizing ongoing marketing programs and reviewing pipelines.
- Work directly with the Sr. Director of Marketing to track, analyse, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts towards pipeline health, program Return on Investment (ROI), customer acquisition and penetration, as well as lead acquisition and activity. Serve as a trusted advisor to the entire geographical field organization, offering long-term strategic recommendations to achieve business objectives.
- Implement and own the budget planning process, which includes developing templates, communicating updates, and ensuring adherence to processes and deadlines
Skill Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B lead generation and data analytics experience
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive data driven decisions
- Strong decision-making skills, and the ability to use data to optimize campaign performance and inform future strategies
- Operational understanding of sales processes and business operating models with creative problem-solving skills who can design solutions from qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to see the big picture and alignment to sales and marketing opportunities for growth & ROI
- Speed in execution & strategic decision making to quickly adapt & adjust as the business requires
- Ability to drive collaboration and teamwork within a matrixed environment to create fully integrated plans and reports
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and levels within the organization
