The Pricing Business Process Analyst, is part of a team of professionals who plan, perform and implement process and application capabilities to enable exceptional commerce experiences to our customers, partner and field and achieve cost, quality and efficiency goals utilizing proven transformation and improvement techniques.
The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, understanding of pricing and discounting process in the high-tech industry and have practical knowledge and experience with the Oracle CPQ Cloud or similar pricing applications and possess solid understanding of quote to cash process inclusive of quoting in Distributor and Reseller environments.
configuration, sales contract, master data, order management for subscription, consumption and capital commerce processes and systems; high energy, in-depth pricing and discounting experience in cross-functional transformation and process improvement, project management, requirements/user stories definition, metric development, reporting and business and process analytics. In addition, the position requires strong relationship building, analytical, collaboration and influence skills to be successful.
This is a challenging, high visibility role working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Process transformation and improvement efforts focused on improving pricing and discounting models for subscription, consumption and capital purchasing models.
- Utilize proven approaches to implement new business capability or improve operational performance through entire project lifecycle from charter definition to benefit realization
- Determine, present, and gain approval from decision makers and stakeholders of all deliverables (e.g., charter, business case, design directions and recommendations, requirements, roadmaps, etc.)
- Design operational processes and provide business requirements/user stories. Collaborate with IT and team members to define solutions
- Conduct process and business analysis and present results and recommendations
- Ensure program milestones and objectives are met with expected quality. Provide clear and timely status
- Develop metrics that provide data for process performance assessment to identify difference making opportunities for improvement
- Measure performance against process requirements.
- Provide content and/or deliver required training and communications in support of business readiness activities
Job Requirements
- Deep process and systems knowledge and experience in successfully implementing pricing and discounting commerce capabilities. Including Revenue Contracts Administration, Channel Pathways, and CPQ Pricing Optimization
- Oracle Cloud CPQ experience preferable
- Experience in business process analysis and improvement methodologies that deliver expected and substantial results.
- Experience with Agile methodologies as a product owner or designer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; including presentation skills.
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and utilizing project management applications.
- Strong user of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio.

- This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
- Limited supervision and direction are provided, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
Education
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience is required
- A Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience. Masters degree a plus
- Demonstrated ability to have completed complex system-enabled transformation projects.
- Agile Certification a plus
