Job Summary

NetApp Core Software and Data Management organization is actively seeking a Manager and a quality leader for a Quality Engineering team. The focus of this role is to own the vision, direction and execution for product quality, test automation development, CI/CD, regression test suites and customer success. If you are dedicated to creative problem solving and getting things done, you may be just the person we’re looking for! 

Job Requirements

This position requires the manager to be technically strong, have hands-on experience in test automation, possess ability to work with cross-functional teams, and be driven to ensure delivery of high-quality features.
•   Establish a strong connection between customer scenarios and pre-release test coverage and automation.
•   Lead design and building of automated tests for system level products.
•   Proven ability to manage and lead remote teams. 
•   Empower your team to learn and grow and support them in their career goals.
•   Build and promote a work environment that is highly collaborative and team centric.
•   Collaborate with leadership team to ensure we are building the best teams.
•   Work closely with support and product management to get the right test coverage
•   Interface and work with customer facing support and maintenance teams to understand customer issues and help triage them 
•   A willingness to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will positively contribute towards team, department, and company goals

Requirements
•   The candidate should be self-driven, with a strong quality and test automation background.
•   Experience in qualifying system level products in on-prem, hybrid-cloud, storage or database systems.
•   Ability to work cross functional teams (Dev, QE and Automation) and internal partners.
•   Experience with Agile/SCRUM
•   1-3 year’s experience managing and leading quality engineering teams working on enterprise products in a high-growth, fast-paced system software engineering company.
•   Experience working with geographically remote teams.
•   Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people.

Desired
•   On-prem and cloud infrastructure experience
•   Experience with Agile frameworks.


Education

•   Minimum of 10+ years of experience is required. or 3-4 Managerial exp is considered.
•   Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree; or equivalent experience is required
