Job Summary

The SAP Competence Center District Manager is a strategic leader and thinker, responsible for building and leading a team of SAP sales specialists. This role requires a deep understanding of the SAP portfolio, SAP partner ecosystem, service provider, hyperscaler market, as well as NetApp's hybrid cloud and cloud portfolio. The manager and his team will be responsible for integrating NetApp's technology, expertise, and maturity into the customer's value stack, setting NetApp and its solutions apart from any other data management supplier. This is a unique opportunity within NetApp.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the strategic client relationship with SAP on a global scale within the assigned district.
- Develop and lead a team of global sales specialists with an outstanding sales approach and excellent technical knowledge.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SAP solutions.
- Understand SAP's goals, develop account strategies, and drive customer value that leads to revenue growth.
- Be responsible for NetApp's cloud product and on-premises portfolio within the district.
- Leverage knowledge of the SAP portfolio and GSI to identify and seize new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with GSIs, service providers, hyperscalers, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions using a solution selling approach.
- Plan and forecast business, identifying upselling opportunities within the district.
- Build strong relationships at all levels of the client organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and provide insights to clients.
- Collaborate with product teams for enhancements and provide feedback.
- Exhibit a "never give up" attitude, leading by example, and demonstrating strategic thinking and global selling expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology sector, with a focus on SAP solutions.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably managing a SAP Competence Center or similar team.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP portfolio, SAP partner ecosystem, service provider, and hyperscaler market.
- Deep understanding of NetApp's hybrid cloud and cloud portfolio.
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic client relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand complex customer requirements and provide solutions.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and an adaptive approach.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a high level of accountability.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
