Key areas of what you will do
As an engineer on our team, you will work as part of a truly innovative, fun and growing team responsible for developing, testing and debugging our Cloud storage offerings. You will focus on the Customer 1st and foremost in all that you do, whether it is working through the full development cycle from design to Cloud deployment. If you are dedicated to creative problem solving and getting things done, you may be just the person we’re looking for!
Translate complex product requirements into leading-edge Kubernetes-based customer solutions using Golang and Python.
You'll build quality into your code through unit and integration test development and continuous DevOps pipelines.
- Provide team and project technical leadership, mentor other engineers and participate in technical decisions.
- Work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department and company goals.

About You
You have:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of related experience
- Experience working with Golang.
- Experience developing solutions for one of the hyperscaler vendor's environments.
- Experience interacting with and building web APIs. Experience with RESTful + JSON RPC services.
- Experience writing automated tests and working with test-gated CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with developing Kubernetes-based solutions.
- Experience working with containers in a build and test environment.
- Ability to participate in and drive technical discussions with your team and other cross-functional teams.
- A passion for delivering quality products and services to customers.
Bonus skills (Nice to have, but not required):
- Experience with the Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience writing technical specification documents.
- Experience with leveraging AI as part of the development lifecycle.
- Experience with K8s-based app data mgmt solutions, e.g. backups, snapshots.
- Proficiency in UI development languages such as VUE, Angular or React.
- Experience working with Python.
Education
A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 138,780 - 195,030 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
